It often leads to the notion that somehow domestic work is beneath men, and a woman must do it, irrespective of her career.  It might have been true in the past, but is hopelessly outdated now.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt; I also find it amusing how such thought is viewed as "Western", at least in India. Many women asked me who was taking care of my son while I was away, and they all expressed amazement that my husband was managing the household and the kid in my absence. They told me that you'd never see an Indonesian man doing that!
